Okanagan College students enrolled in programs without a set timetable can view available classes and create their own timetable by making a 'Plan Ahead' file for registration through their account.
If you are not a student at Okanagan College or are a counselor or educational advisor at another institution and wish to see if OC offers a certain course, please contact the educational advising team.
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Contact an educational advisor
Before choosing your courses, it's a good idea to talk to an educational advisor to make sure you're picking the right ones for your program and graduation
Step 2: Print (or pick up) a planning sheet
Okanagan College provides planning sheets that you can view or print. These sheets help ensure that the courses you register for meet the program's graduation requirements.

ɫɫɫƬ can view classes for the next semester about a month before registration.
- For fall and winter semesters, academic students can see class offerings by late June or early July.
- Summer course offerings are usually available by March.

Step 3: Review resources on how to build and plan a schedule
You can also watch the YouTube video on how to use the 'Plan Ahead' feature to search for classes and build a schedule. prior to your registration time ticket to allow you to web register for courses you have already selected.
Important note: Please ensure you select the correct term. For academic foundational students, choose the term and year only. ie:, summer 2025 (do not select the continuing studies option).
Once you have selected your classes and created a plan, you can register at your assigned time.
Step 4: Review prerequisites or co-requisites for classes
When scheduling your classes, ensure you have met the prerequisites or co-requisites. To view these, click on the course title, and a box will appear where you can select prerequisites or co-requisites. Alternatively, you can check the calendar under "Courses" and select the course to view its prerequisites.
You can switch sections, register, or withdraw from courses until the last day specified in Okanagan College's important dates for your academic year. Keep in mind the last day to withdraw from a course with tuition charges reversed/refunded.
